3 Kids and a Dog

These are pictures of our sweet little baby robin birds. The nest was built in the same spot as it was two years ago. We watched each day...one...two....three....four little eggs. Then slowly they hatched. The babies were ugly, just like last time, but the grew to be fluffy and cute. The kids named the birds after themselves - Tylan, Avery and Ally.

Then one day the girls went out to check on them and got quite a surprise. All three birdies were getting ready to leave. We got so close to them and then just sat there frozen. I told the girls that their momma was going to teach them to fly that day and the next time we would look, they would be gone.

Our day got busy and sure enough we forgot to check back. The next morning the girls ran to check on them and they were gone. A day or two later Avery spotted one of them in the big tree in our back yard. I took a picture but it's a little fuzzy. You can definitely tell that it is one of the babies though.
