3 Kids and a Dog

Okay, they're not baby chickens but that's what Avery thinks. A mama Robin built her nest under our deck so we are able to look down into the nest and watch the progress of the eggs. Every morning Avery says, "Mama, I gonna go check on those baby chickens!" Here are some pictures.

Just the other day we went to check on the babies and there was only one little egg left. It never hatched. The other two left the nest. It's crazy how quickly they grew and flew away. Hopefully, mama will come again next year!
